Taxation of the digitalized economy – A European Perspective

Hardly any other tax policy issue has been as broadly and intensely discussed as the OECD’s project to address the global tax challenges arising from digitalisation of the economy. During this interactive discussion, Freshfields partner Stephan Eilers and Principal Associate Katharina Kubik, who have been engaging with clients on the OECD and EU initiatives, will provide you with an update to most recent developments and answer the following questions: What is the common theme underlying all of these initiatives? Is there a European perspective? What is to be expected next?
