Henderson Group on its $6bn all stock merger of equals with Janus Capital to form Janus Henderson Global Investors, a leading global active asset manager with AUM of more than $320bn.
UBS AG on the merger of its European wealth management business into UBS Europe SE (Frankfurt) by way of a simultaneous cross-border merger of the Italian, Spanish, Luxemburgish and Dutch wealth management entities into UBS Deutschland AG, which was subsequently converted into an SE.
Defending MasterCard against one of the first major opt-out collective actions under the new regime introduced by the UK’s Consumer Rights Act 2015. Brought on behalf of a class of around 46 million UK consumers for a total of £14bn in damages, this is the largest claim ever brought before the UK courts.
