UNCITRAL Colloquium on possible future work on dispute settlement
Freshfields’ International Arbitration partner Elliot Friedman will speak on a panel titled “Technology-related disputes” from 3-5 pm on March 30, 2022 at the UNCITRAL Colloquium on possible future work on dispute settlement which will take place from March 28 – April 1, 2022 during the upcoming 75th session of Working Group II.
The Colloquium is organized at the request of the United Nations Commission On International Trade Law to explore the legal issues relating to dispute resolution in the digital economy and to identify the scope and nature of possible legislative work.
The Colloquium will discuss the following topics:
- Developments in dispute resolution in the digital economy
- Online platforms for dispute resolution
- Technology-related dispute resolution
- Adjudication
The Colloquium will convene State representatives, invited international organizations for the 75th session of Working Group II and experts invited by the secretariat.
