Tim is a private capital partner and leader of our global transactions practice in London. He specialises in M&A and joint ventures for private equity sponsors and other international financial investors, working on acquisitions and disposals, management equity arrangements and restructurings, alongside a wide range of portfolio company matters.
Tim’s key private capital clients include AEA Investors, Blackstone, Cerberus, CVC Capital Partners, Goldman Sachs PIA and Hellman & Friedman.

- Hellman & Friedman on its acquisitions of Action, Allfunds, AutoScout24, Concardis, Nets, SSP, TeamSystem, Trader Canada and Wood Mackenzie, on the merger of Nets with Nexi, the disposal of the Nets A2A infrastructure business, the IPO of Allfunds on Euronext Amsterdam, various acquisitions and disposals in and by TeamSystem and the disposal of Wood Mackenzie.
- AEA Investors on its acquisitions of SCIO Automation, Polygon, NES Global Talent, Fircroft Engineering, Sparrows Offshore and Hydrobolt, and on its disposal of Sparrows Offshore to Altrad.
