About Ziyad Nassif

Ziyad is a partner based in our London Global Transactions Practice.

Ziyad acts for corporate and institutional clients on cross-border corporate transactions, including public and private M&A.  He advises clients across a broad range of sectors, including tech, media, education and retail.

Ziyad also regularly advises listed companies on corporate governance matters.

Ziyad has previously been seconded to Freshfields’ Dubai office as well as Pearson plc's corporate finance and strategy team.

Ziyad is a CLLS Company Law Committee member.

He is fluent in Arabic.

  • AB InBev on its divestments of Carlton & United Breweries and of its Peroni, Grolsch and Meantime businesses to the Asahi Group.
  • Cazoo on its Series D funding round and acquisition of Imperial Car Supermarkets prior to its de-SPAC.

University education

  • University of Durham, UK (law, first-class honours)
