About Tainá Moreira de Araújo

Tainá is a corporate/M&A lawyer and a member of our Global Transactions Group.

She advises on national and international M&A transactions, complex reorganisations and carve-outs.

Tainá speaks German, English, Spanish and Portuguese. 

Prior to joining the firm, Tainá gained experience as a corporate/M&A associate at a leading Brazilian law firm and also has experience in arbitration and post-M&A disputes.

  • DSV A/S on its acquisition of Schenker AG from Deutsche Bahn.
  • Merck KGaA on the sale of its global Surface Solution business unit to Global New Material International Holdings Ltd.
  • Fresenius SE & Co. KGaA on its divestment of Eugin Group to a consortium led by KKR porfolio IVI RMA and GED Capital.
  • Western Union, on the $910m sale of Western Union Business Solutions to a private equity consortium of Goldfinch Partners and Baupost Group. 
  • Razor Group GmbH on its acquisition of Valoreo, a leading e-commerce aggregator in Latin America, and Razor Group's parallel series C financing round.
  • Global Infrastructure Partners on the acquisition of VTG Aktiengesellschaft.
  • Global Infrastructure Partners on the acquisition of wpd offshore GmbH, a leading offshore wind-farm developer, from wpd AG.
  • Flint Group on the carve-out and sale of its XSYS division to an affiliate of Lone Star Funds. 
  • Gategroup on the acquisition of Lufthansa's LSG Sky Chefs EU business.
  • Adivising a consortium of banks with respect to a green financing transaction of the expansion of a papermill, supported by various credit agencies.
  • Structure consolidation in the shareholding of an European family with concerned regulated entities. 
  • Global Forest Partners LP (GFP) on several acquisitions and divestments related to the forestry industry in Brazil.*
  • Papeles Bio Bio S.A., controlled by Group BO/Pathfinder, in the acquisition of Norske Skog Pisa from Norske Skog.*
