About Elizabeth Forster
Elizabeth is an associate in the Global Projects Disputes Practice.
Her practice covers major projects, public procurement, judicial reviews and human rights. She acts for clients on contentious and non-contentious matters across a variety of sectors, including energy, healthcare, transport and defence.
As a member of the Global Business and Human Rights Group, Elizabeth also advises clients on human rights-related risks and best practice in respect of national and international business and human rights standards. She has advised a wide range of multinational clients on their human rights and modern slavery policies and the implications of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
Prior to joining Freshfields, Elizabeth worked for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and she was recently seconded to their strategic litigation team. She continues to provide pro bono advice to leading human rights and counter-trafficking NGOs and charities.
