About Filippo Alberti

Filippo Alberti is a Principal Associate in the Antitrust competition and trade group.

His  practice focuses on various aspects of EU and Italian competition law, mergers, antitrust compliance, anti-competitive agreements, cartels and dominance investigations, consumer law, regulatory affairs and related litigation. He regularly assists multinational clients in these areas having experience across a wide range of sectors including, media, telecom, tech, energy, transports, automotive, banking, insurance and manufacturing.

At the beginning of its professional career, he worked at public authorities (Italian Antitrust Authority and at Directorate-General for Competition of the European Commission) and then in a major energy company in Italy, in a large European broadcaster and in another international law firm.

He graduated summa cum laude in law from the University of Genoa and he also holds two II level international masters (one from the Università di Roma La Sapienza and the other from the Université Libre de Bruxelles).

Filippo regularly lectures on competition law at the Ucly and at the University of Palermo.
