Executive Vice President and Head of Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility, Wells Fargo & Company
Mary is an executive vice president and the head of Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility for Wells Fargo & Company. In this role, Mary is responsible for the strategic integration of sustainability and corporate responsibility across Wells Fargo’s products and services, operations and culture, and philanthropy.
Prior to joining Wells Fargo in December 2004, Mary worked for the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 9 in San Francisco, working with tribal nations in the Western region of the US. Mary also worked for the US EPA in Washington, DC, managing renewable energy and Energy Star programs. Prior experience also includes roles as the director of Government Affairs for a clean energy development company in the San Francisco Bay Area, and the manager of Environmental Affairs for Enron Corp. in San Francisco and Houston. Mary is a member of the board of directors for GRID Alternatives.
Mary earned a BA degree in international relations from Johns Hopkins University and a master’s degree in public administration from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.
