Byrne Doyle is a Senior Vice President for Best Buy Co. Inc., a multinational retailer of technology and entertainment products and services. His current area of responsibility is business, planning and operations in the Strategic Growth Office where the team is incubating new growth ideas for the company.
Doyle comes to Best Buy with over 30 years’ experience in the area of retail leadership and prior to joining Best Buy he worked for Walmart Stores, Inc. Doyle has spent most of his professional career with Best Buy and was hired in 1998 as a general manger for a retail location. Throughout his career with Best Buy he has held multiple leadership positions including territory general manager, district manager, finance director, regional operations manager, regional customer services manager and service center general manager.
Doyle was a candidate in the MBA program at Lewis University in Illinois and he has a Bachelor’s Degree in economics from the University of Pittsburgh.
